Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Exid platform and services ("Service") provided by Exid ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Exid provides an AI-led exit interview platform that enables organisations to conduct confidential voice interviews with departing employees and receive anonymised insights. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete registration information.
Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
All activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at hello@exid.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
Misrepresent the purpose of the Service to employees invited to participate in interviews.
Attempt to circumvent the anonymisation features to identify specific individuals.
Reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the Service.
Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.

4. Employee Consent and Confidentiality

You are responsible for ensuring that departing employees are informed about and consent to participating in AI-led exit interviews facilitated through Exid. You must accurately represent the confidential and anonymised nature of the process when inviting employees.

5. Subscription and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for non-payment.

The free trial provides limited access for 14 days at no charge. No credit card is required to start a trial.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of data as described therein.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, and content, is owned by Exid and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Exid's trademarks, logos, or brand features.

You retain ownership of data you upload to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to deliver the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Exid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your billing settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Exid is registered. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
